Terms of service.

These terms govern your use of askallfour.com and the Ask All Four monitoring subscription. The service is operated by Forthwith Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17485635, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ (“we”, “us”). Using the site means you accept them.

What the service does

We ask four AI assistants - ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude - a set of questions about your line of business, and record whether your business name appears in their answers. The free check runs once. A monitoring subscription re-asks the same questions every week and emails you when an assistant changes between naming you and not.

What we do not promise

This matters more here than in most terms, so it is stated plainly:

• We do not promise to improve your visibility in AI answers. We measure it. Nothing we sell makes an assistant recommend you.
• AI assistants are third-party systems that change without notice. Answers vary between runs for reasons outside anyone's control. A change we report is a change we observed, not proof of a change in your standing.
• Whether you were named is decided by plain text matching on the name you gave us. It is reproducible, but it will miss you if the assistant calls you something else, and the report tells you when that may have happened.
• We report what four assistants said on one day. That is a sample, not a complete picture of how AI treats your business.

The free check

The free check is provided as-is, with no commitment. We may limit how many checks an address or a network can run, and may withdraw it at any time. You must only run it for a business you own or are authorised to act for.

Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

• Monitoring costs £9 per month, including VAT where applicable, charged monthly in advance until cancelled.
• Payment is taken by Stripe. We never receive your card details.
• You can cancel at any time using the one-click link in any email we send you, or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation stops the next payment; monitoring continues to the end of the period you have paid for.
• Changed your mind? Cancel within 14 days of subscribing and we will refund that month in full, whoever you are and whatever the reason. Use the link in any of our emails, or email [email protected]. We will not charge you for checks we have already run in those 14 days.
• That is a promise we make to every customer, business or not. If you are a consumer, it is in addition to your statutory right to cancel a distance contract within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, and nothing in these terms affects that right.
• After the first 14 days we do not refund part-months by default. If something has gone wrong, email us and we will deal with it fairly.
• We may change the price with at least 30 days' notice by email. You can cancel before the new price applies.

The fix pack and Answer Pages

• The fix pack (£49) is a set of files generated for your site from our audit, such as a robots.txt, structured data and an llms.txt, with notes on where each one goes.
• Answer Pages (£49 each) are web pages written by AI to answer a question your customers ask, using only the text of your own website. If your site already has a page about that question, we rewrite that page rather than add a second one.
• Both are one-off payments. Unless you already pay for monitoring for that business, each includes weekly monitoring free for 90 days, then £9 a month until you cancel, on the terms above. We email you 7 days before the first charge.
• Check before you publish. We check every price, number, phone number and postcode on an Answer Page against your website, and mark anything we could not confirm. It is still a draft for you to review: you decide what goes on your site, and you are responsible for it.
• Both change what your site says, not what the assistants decide. We do not promise that any assistant will name you as a result.
• Changed your mind? Ask within 14 days of paying and we will refund it in full, whoever you are and whatever the reason. If something we delivered does not work as described, email [email protected] and we will put it right or refund you.

Your responsibilities

• Give us accurate details. The result is only as good as the business name and domain you enter.
• Do not use the service to scan a business you have no connection with in order to target or disparage it.
• Do not attempt to overload, scrape or circumvent the limits on the service.

Availability

We aim to run every subscriber's check weekly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. If an assistant is unreachable we record it as unreachable rather than counting it as a result against you.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for lost profits, lost business or lost opportunity. Our reports are information, not advice: decisions you take on the strength of them are yours.

Ending the agreement

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end your subscription if you breach these terms, and will refund any period paid for but not delivered.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
